How to use trending and cutting-edge design in Augmented Reality apps

These days augmented reality comes to the forefront with mobile apps paving its way. There are hundreds of apps that leverage AR technology today. I would like to share with you information about how we use a mix of various designs for the creation of augmented reality in Udviser, an AR app powered by ROAR.

A few words about Udviser by ROAR. It will be available for both iOS and Android. The app enables users to capture target images through a phone camera and overlay Augmented Reality over the marker. It is built to bring interactive experiences and fun to its users. Also, it is a source of valuable information in one place. It aggregates various services in real time including product information, customer reviews, price comparisons and others.

AR Experience — Udviser

Currently, we are working on the following use cases:
- Movie posters (Scan any movie posters worldwide)
- Packaged food & drinks (10,000 packaged food & drinks [beta])
- Money converter (Real time currency converter)

AR bubbles

Interaction is key for all user experiences. For our interaction design we developed the concept of AR bubbles. AR bubbles display the main information with relevant details such as:

  1. Preview of nutrition facts
  2. Preview of Best price
  3. Nearby places
  4. Reviews
  5. Coupon codes

Flat UI

For easy navigation we are using Flat UI. When clicking AR bubbles, users will be able to make use of advanced functions and navigation.
